It's actually a reflection of the top half... image obtained by moogling about in photoshop.

The first time acrylic enviro painting turned out alright. Will do this again! 

blackberry

This week's theme is blackberry!  So I did this semi-crude image because I thought of blackberry, bushes and  then trimming. In a different style then usual; looking at a friend's stuff reminded me that I still need to try out other things.
Plus wrong leg muscles as a bonus.

Other choice for blackberry.  Had quite a few random ideas but decided not to do all of them.

sketches?

Influenced by amazinglosers.blogspot.com ( yes,here comes a shameless plug) , a blog co-maintained by 4 fellow friends who post their sketches every week.  I should start posting my sketches, but they aren't really all THAT interesting. As a friend put it, it's more of a learning sketchbook, containing mostly studies and random coffee stains.

Changed the lighting, and I think this one works better. There's a morning feel to it.

I feel that whenever Doug says "attempt", it really means: " do this like a professional". Stupid me forgot about the wood grain and drew against it. :L I'm going to redo it, because I'm sure Ian'll blow a gasket. Apologies for the bad lighting.

For friends' weekly theme thing, thanks for inviting! Though I think I did a rather cliched image. Probably still unfinished.

The current bug assignment.... equally parts cool and disgusting. I can't stand the small teeny ones. the bigger the better because I can actually see them.  Rough linear.

It's more cliched than I hoped it would be...really wanted to add more things to it but am hindered by the program/insufficient computer.  -___-    Trying out alternate lighting tomorrow and fixing glitches.  In the mother of all evils, strata.

tofu anatomy

Because tofu is always hot on the inside when you eat it, causing your mouth to explode. Wanted to try something new, but probably the last time I shall do vector art.
